Burrow
A safety net for websites and apps that Tom Peck builds and runs for his clients.
Each project has a few named people, usually from the client's own organisation, who hold its Burrow switch. If Tom is ever unavailable, any of them can ask for a complete copy of the project: the source code, settings, database, uploaded files and instructions for running it somewhere else.
How it works
- Each holder has a private link, sent to them by email. Everything starts from that link.
- A holder can test the switch at any time and get a green tick, without downloading anything.
- When a holder asks for the project, Tom and the other holders are told straight away, and Tom has 7 days to cancel. If he doesn't, the copy is released.
- The copy is locked. Burrow can't open it by itself; only a holder's link can.
Lost your link?
If you hold a switch and can't find your link, Tom can send you a new one.
